In just under three months, the time will arrive for Vera Aqua Vera Vita’s Mission team to embark on their annual journey to educate, empower and connect with the people in rural Peru. The lessons our Missionaries share are vital to helping the community stay healthy, by mitigating the impacts of consumption of contaminated water sources and and so they can preserve the cleanliness of the water that will flow from the engineered clean water system VAVV will bring to fullfilment in collaboration with the people soon. 

Our great nation’s water supply is failing its people. From Flint to Jacksonville to Hawaii, minorities and low income families are suffering. It’s time to get informed and stand with them! And if we think we have it bad, our less fortunate brothers and sisters in developing countries have it even worse!

This past March was a very special month for Vera Aqua Vera Vita; for the first time since 2019, VAVV got to send a team of missionaries from DFW into the rural communities of Piura, Peru to bring True Water True Life through service, education and camaraderie! Take a moment to explore some of the reasons behind Peru’s status as the country with the highest per capita death rate in the world. Access to clean water plays a large part in efforts to “stop the spread.” Now more than ever, Peru needs our prayers and aid.

VAVV is proud to announce the commencement of planning and engineering for both Cerro de Leones and Las Mercedes! We’re excited to bring sustainable solutions to these two communities, working closely with local government agencies, contractors/consultants, and individuals to empower the people to become owners of the solutions for their own community.

At the core of Vera Aqua Vera Vita’s project implementation is W.A.S.H. oriented solutions that look to holistically improve the lives of those it touches by securing clean Water and Sanitation Hygiene (W.A.S.H.). As a grassroots nonprofit, it is vital that Vera Aqua Vera Vita not only strive towards W.A.S.H. solutions but provides the community with the knowledge and tools necessary for its future implementation as well.

Since March of 2020, the VAVV team has been collaborating to create material for a W.A.S.H Education Program and is now proud to announce the completion of a W.A.S.H. Workshop!
