Can You Live On One Gallon for 24 Hours?

Right now, water scarcity has created nearly 1 Billion people living without access to a clean and proper supply of water. Live in solidarity with these people struggling to survive with less than one gallon of water (~4-liters) everyday.

Here is How it Works

Choose one day (24 hrs) to take the challenge

If you observe lent, Friday’s in Lent make a great day to take the challenge — that way you can practice lenten abstinence and grow in solidarity at the same time!

Fill a container with one gallon of water

Hint: Use a large milk jug, or marked water bottles (4 liters approximates to 1 gallon!

Use that gallon for ALL your water needs

Drinking, washing hands, cooking, cleaning, etc.

Record a video on your experience

  1. Introduce yourself

  2. Answer the question, “Why are did you do this challenge?”

  3. Share the impact you hope to have!
