Why Care Packages?

In remote regions of Peru, access to basic necessities is a daily challenge. At Vera Aqua Vera Vita (VAVV), we recognize that clean water, sanitation, and hygiene are essential to the dignity and well-being of our less fortunate brothers and sisters. Our care packages provide basic items like soap, toothpaste, and chlorine tablets, which are vital for quality of life where clean water is scarce.

By assembling and sending care packages to communities who do not have access to clean water, this program creates a unique opportunity to bring hope and change to communities in need. These packages help kickstart improvements in the overall health and well-being of those who receive them.

Our mission—bringing "True Water, True Life!"—is rooted in the belief that by addressing W.A.S.H needs, we can help others experience the fullness of life.

Our Care Package Program invites you to take action by preparing essential hygiene, sanitation, and water treatment supplies for families in developing communities. This simple yet powerful act of service offers hope and the promise of a healthier future to those who need it most. We also strive to include prayer cards and rosaries to nourish the spiritual needs of those who receive the packages as well.

Care Package FAQs

  • The Care Package Program is a community service initiative where participants assemble and donate hygiene items to support communities with limited access to clean water. It's a hands-on way to help people in need while learning about global water issues.

  • Our care packages generally contain essential WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene) items like soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes, and chlorine tablets for water purification. We also tailor packages to suit the specific needs of the community being served. You can reference our Amazon Charity List for recommended items or coordinate with us to personalize the contents based on your group’s goals​.

  • The Care Package Program not only provides vital hygiene items but also serves as an educational tool to raise awareness about global water and sanitation challenges. Participants learn about these issues and get involved in hands-on efforts to improve access to clean water for communities in need.
