Review of 2020 & Hopes for 2021

VAVV is excited to share the 2020 Annual Report, including a 2020 Year-in-Review and a detailed vision for 2021! Through an unprecedented year, VAVV did as much as possible to continue to meet the need for water, only worsened by the pandemic. Looking into 2021, VAVV hopes to continue Phase II (Sanitary Sewer System) developments in Monte Castillo and finish Phase I (Clean Water Supply/Access) developments for 2-3 new, rural communities.

Empowerment with W.A.S.H. Education

At the core of Vera Aqua Vera Vita’s project implementation is W.A.S.H. oriented solutions that look to holistically improve the lives of those it touches by securing clean Water and Sanitation Hygiene (W.A.S.H.). As a grassroots nonprofit, it is vital that Vera Aqua Vera Vita not only strive towards W.A.S.H. solutions but provides the community with the knowledge and tools necessary for its future implementation as well.

Since March of 2020, the VAVV team has been collaborating to create material for a W.A.S.H Education Program and is now proud to announce the completion of a W.A.S.H. Workshop!

Make a world of difference supporting Vera Aqua Vera Vita on GivingTuesday

This year, Vera Aqua Vera Vita (VAVV) rides the generosity wave, hoping to use the proceeds from GivingTuesday to provide access to clean water for 200 people in the Piura Region of Peru. VAVV pledges that 100% of the donations given for GivingTuesday will go directly to projects in Piura, Peru, providing clean water and sanitation measures to communities in great need. The goal is to raise $10,000!

Clean Water is Coming for Seven New Communities in Piura, Peru

Today, Nov. 3, 2020 marks the exciting commencement of Vera Aqua Vera Vita’s (VAVV) efforts to officially begin serving seven new communities in the Piura Region of Peru. The assessment phase of the project implementation process gets underway today.

After great success serving the community of Monte Castillo with the installation of a water treatment facility among other sustainable W.A.S.H. initiatives, VAVV now lends a much-needed hand to seven new communities within the Piura Region.
