January marks a major milestone for VAVV as we begin reporting on four active clean water projects for the first time and launch a new atmospheric water condenser initiative that expands how we serve communities in Peru.

A multidisciplinary student team from the University of Texas at Dallas partnered with VAVV to design a build-ready, solar-powered system that turns air into clean drinking water, bringing a community-centered water solution for Piura, Peru one step closer to reality.

December marked a meaningful close to 2025 as VAVV strengthened community leadership in Las Mercedes KM11, advanced planning in La Merced, and prepared for expanded clean water projects in 2026.

This May, VAVV reports major progress in two rural communities. The purchase of a Water Tanker Truck is being prepared, setting the stage for clean water delivery for one and we’ve taken important steps forward in water source testing to determine the best long-term solution for the other!
