“I do not know about you, but I am finding it hard to believe Fall is already upon especially when considering that in Dallas, at least, we had a high of 95+ degrees today. The continued heat-wave sure makes me abundantly grateful for clean and easily accessible water. Speaking of which, I am excited to share with you a few updates regarding what Vera Aqua Vera Vita has been up to in the wide world of water. On August 1st, our team of ten missionaries returned from an exhausting yet fulfilling week-long mission in the desert heat of Piura, Peru where we strived to be Christ’s hands and feet as we literally encountered Christ himself in the poorest of the poor! Jacob Niemeier

Jacob Niemeier grew up in North America's heartland and from a very young age his Catholic Christian faith has been very important to him.

He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Science in Agriculture & Biological Engineering from Purdue University and continues to this day to uphold his Engineering license.

Jacob has a great passion for problem solving and adventure whether it is with water, the environment, travel, or people. While at Purdue, Jacob, also, recognized the needs and suffering of people in developing countries when he took mission trips to both Haiti and Africa which he credits as his inspiration for starting Vera Aqua Vera Vita.
