As this year comes to a close, we’re reminded of a remarkable truth we’ve witnessed time and again: when clean water reaches a community, everything changes. Health strengthens, children return to school, women reclaim time and dignity, and hope takes root. Thanks to your generosity, what began as a dream in rural northern Peru is now becoming a living testimony to what’s possible when faith, compassion, and community unite. In Las Mercedes KM11, more than 1,200 residents are receiving clean water for the first time through our new delivery system, and in La Merced, a second well is underway that will serve another 200 people. With just $30,000 remaining—$20,000 for La Merced and $10,000 for Las Mercedes KM11—these systems will soon stand as community-run sources of life, resilience, and opportunity for more than 1,400 men, women, and children.
To sustain this momentum and expand our impact, we are relaunching our Ripple for Hope campaign to strengthen the backbone of our mission by raising $70,000 to hire a full-time Director of Engineering and Projects—an essential step that will allow us to complete two to three additional clean water systems each year. Whether through a monthly gift as a Ripple Community Member or a one-time donation before December 31st, your support will help us reach our total $100,000 year-end goal, finish the vital projects already underway, and extend true water and true life to thousands more in the years ahead.
