Volunteer with the Missionaries of Charity

Would you like to make a difference? Are you looking for service opportunities?

Project Finding Calcutta and Vera Aqua Vera Vita are excited to collaborate to host a half-day to serve the poorest of the poor in the spirit of Mother Teresa! We’re excited to bring our mission of dignity and hope into our local DFW community by serving with the Missionaries of Charity. We will begin with fellowship, prayer, and the orientation, then we separate into smaller groups to comfort the elderly at nursing homes, work at a community garden, help the Missionaries of Charity sisters in assisting low income families or homeless pregnant women, make lunch and serve at soup kitchens, organize items at food pantries, and/or feed the homeless on the streets.

Following the service event, all are invited to continue fellowship over lunch (optional), provided by Vera Aqua Vera Vita.

This is a family-friendly event, so children of all ages are welcome. We encourage everyone to RSVP here, so we can let the places of service know how many people to expect. Like Mother Teresa said, “Let us do something beautiful for God.”
