Each year World Water Day is a way of focusing attention on the importance of freshwater and advocating for the sustainable management of freshwater resources. You can join the movement by sharing our posts with your network, and by raising awareness through speech and action!

Right now, around the world there are nearly 1 Billion people living without access to a clean and proper supply of water. Many of these survive with less than 1-gallon (~4-liters) of water everyday! As a part of your Lenten penance this year, Vera Aqua Vera Vita challenges you to live on 1-gallon or less of water for an entire day!

It is the season of Christmas, and around the globe families gather together to celebrate the Nativity of Jesus Christ in their own special way. It’s important to remember during this time of joy and generosity the families around the wprld who lack some of the luxuries we take for granted. Consider gifts of prayer and treasure for our less fortunate brothers and sisters around the world.

Vera Aqua Vera Vita is aiming to grow and with a successful North Texas Giving Day we can do just that! Our mission, our programs, and our Reach have expanded dramatically just in the last year. We have come to a point where we now have an opportunity to "Reach Further" than we ever have before! So, will you join us this year in spreading awareness of the reality of the Global Water Crisis affecting millions of our brothers and sisters around the world who are struggling to survive daily because of lack of access to clean water? Your support will make it possible for VAVV to do more networking, conferences, and speaking engagements to spread awareness and engage people in North Texas in our Mission! We are striving to bring clean water to 2 new communities in the Piura Region of Peru this year and 5 more over the next couple of years, and this simply won't be possible unless we #ReachFurther in our mission to engage more people, right here in the DFW area, in our mission as volunteers, donors, champions, and advocates. North Texas Giving Day will help us do just that!
