June Project Status Update: Construction Is Weeks Away & Our Missionaries Break Ground
June delivered the last major engineering milestone before construction begins in Las Mercedes KM11 — and the groundbreaking is now set for the fourth week of July, with VAVV missionaries on the ground. May brought a landmark moment for Las Mercedes KM11 — an official government recognition that marks the community as the rightful steward of their own water future — alongside a sustainable aquifer in Las Mercedes, persistent land-rights advocacy in La Merced, and continued groundwork in Totoral Bajo. April Project Status Update: Construction Coordination & Well Testing
April brought meaningful progress across VAVV’s four active clean water projects in rural Peru, from construction coordination in Las Mercedes KM11, to gearing up for pump testing in Las Mercedes, continued land-rights advocacy in La Merced, and ongoing data collection in Totoral Bajo. Each step is moving these communities closer to sustainable, community-owned clean water systems.
January Project Status Update: Expanding the Mission and Laying New Foundations
