Shoutout DFW features VAVV’s Jacob Niemeier

Jacob Niemeier, Vera Aqua Vera Vita’s Founder and Executive Director, made an appearance on Shoutout DFW’s homepage, under a section called “The deciding factor: what's the most important factor behind your success?” Niemeier had the opportunity to connect with Shoutout DFW while sharing what makes Vera Aqua Vera Vita triumph through it all and the impact of our mission with the DFW community.

Shoutout DFW featured Niemeier as a Local Story, but his article’s focus was far from local. Throughout the interview-style article are photos of Jacob in the community of Monte Castillo, the first community VAVV was able to serve. From the children of Monte Castillo to our Founder helping with the manual labor of construction, the photos serve to show DFW where our organization's focus really lies.

When asked about what he attributed success to, Niemeier’s response was twofold.

“One, personally, the answer... is my deep burning desire to see everyone thriving & living the life they were created to live. I desire to inspire others to pursue their passions & dreams by pursuing my own,” Niemeier wrote. “Second, as an organization, the answer to this question is that we are different in what matters. I had an entrepreneurship professor in college who would often repeat that if you want to be a successful entrepreneur, you have to be different in what matters in your mission and at Vera Aqua Vera Vita we embody that whole-heartedly in two unique facets: 1.) we empower those we serve and 2.) we strive to serve the entire person (body & soul).”

The Founder also got to share about our organizational progress since VAVV’s founding in 2017, excited about the two new projects in the communities of Cerro de Leones and La Mercedes KM11!

The interview ended with a fun list of Niemeier’s favorite places to eat, drink, dance, fish and much more around the DFW area!
