Already half way through the North Texas Giving Day Season, Vera Aqua Vera Vita has raised $1,875 from 12 public donations, equating to $3,750 after matching donations!
Unlike most of VAVV’s other fundraisers, your support will be directed very close to home. Our local programs will benefit from NTX Giving Day , making it possible for us to continue to hold events, informational sessions, appear in conferences and networking events, and support our student club in all their activities at the University of Dallas (from Mission trip recruiting and fundraising to local environmental work).
These local programs serve both to develop and strengthen our organization here and raise awareness for the global issues Vera Aqua Vera Vita fights against daily.
This year, our goal is $35,000 which is more than we’ve ever fundraised for North Texas Giving Day! With the start of the student club at UD just last semester, we’re hoping to set a personal record this year to gather ample support for this new branch of our organization!
This goal may seem unachievable but we know that with our strong support base made of generous people like you, we’ll be able to meet that goal and maybe even blow it out of the water!
Right now through Sept. 22, we’ve secured a few generous donors (organizations, individuals and families) who have contributed a matching fund of $22,750! That means up to that amount, every dollar you donate or FUNdraise for Vera Aqua Vera Vita will be doubled throughout the North Texas Giving Day Season!
This year, for the first time, we’re initiating different tiers of the matching funds, either when the money runs out or when a certain date hits (whichever comes first)!
We designed these tiers to help us use up every last cent of our matching funds, but that won’t be possible without generous supporters like you! Donate when our new fundraising tiers open and you help VAVV qualify for Communities Foundation of Texas’ NTx Giving Day extra prizes!
