Annual Speakeasy Fundraiser Goes Virtual!

After over a one & a half year hiatus, the VAVV Speakeasy Fundraiser for Clean Water is back, but due to lingering impacts of COVID, this year's event will be Virtual. However, don't let the fact that it is Virtual trick you into thinking that this event won't deliver The Goods! In fact, this event may just very well be the Bee's Knees of the Bee's Knees. What we mean to say is this event is going to be the Cat's Meow, and you definitely aren't going to want to miss out!

As a non-profit, Vera Aqua Vera Vita’s mission to save lives by giving water to those in need only thrives through the generosity of our constituents. That said, support our cause by joining us for a night of fun, laughter, and inspiration at our Annual Speakeasy Fundraiser Event -- only this time, participate in the fundraiser from the comfort of your own home!  Register now to attend for Free the Live, Interactive Virtual event via Zoom on May 20th.

The fundraiser will be completely virtual this year, but don’t worry, the booze and jazz – the core of any Speakeasy gathering – will still be in play. Participate in the mystery liquor or wine pull and win a bottle of your new favorite drink. Come and listen the evening of May 20th, for great Jazz music presented by the Dave Washburn Three Quarters Fast Jazz Band to get you in the Speakeasy mood. They’ll be brightening the night (as they did at the last event in 2019) with traditional New Orleans-style jazz, swing, and big band tunes. Additionally, watch Giancarlo Bernini’s magical acts that have shocked attendees from Serious XM to Facebook.

Help us hit our $30,000 Fundraising Goal and bring the Gift of True Water True Life to 600 People in Peru by Bidding in our Online Auction, Buying Mystery Bottles of Liquor or Wine, Buying Raffle Tickets, Sponsoring, or Giving a Direct Donation. Even if you can’t attend, you can still participate in all the ways listed above because the best part is that you don’t have to be present to win! Participate in the myriad of ways listed above from now until May 20th for your chance to win a wide variety of prizes, ranging from vineyard getaways for two to family portraits to exotic vacation packages to awesome tech items.

In celebration of our mission’s accomplishments and those who have helped us promote it, we will be having an inspirational testimony from our Keynote Speaker Reverend Joseph Uhen, Pastor of Santisimo Sacramento Mission Center in Piura, Peru, sharing his mission in tandem with ours and his journey to serve the needy in the region of Piura. After that we will be proud to here from Vera Aqua Vera Vita’s Director of Peru Projects & Programs, Ricardo Arbulu Guerra, as he shares his personal testimonial witness as someone who has seen the struggles of the water crisis first-hand.

If you RSVP now, you get access to the Live, Interactive Virtual Event via Zoom and open up opportunities to get prizes and interact with the other attendees! If you’re not able to make it, you can watch the livestream of our event on YouTube channel or Facebook page. Jeff Schiefelbein, the Co-founder of an energy advisory firm, called Energy by 5, which has received much accolade in the past few years, will be the Master of Ceremonies for the evening offering a live interactive experience with the attendees amidst introducing our exciting entertainment and inspiration speakers. If you attend the live, interactive Zoom call for the event, make sure to listen carefully for Jeff’s announcements of the key-codes throughout the night — catch those words and be one of the first five people to submit your answers directly to Jeff via the Zoom chat and you will win a cool prize!

The best part of this event is truly the cause behind our work: helping our less fortunate brothers and sisters in Peru gain access to clean water & improved sanitation! 100% of the proceeds of this event will go directly to that life-saving mission, so please -- register, bid, donate, and engage!
