What’s Your Drop In The Bucket?
Water is a resource we often take for granted, but its scarcity is becoming a global crisis. "Imagine a Day Without Water" urges us to reflect on what life would be like without reliable access to clean water and highlights the steps we can take to conserve it. This year’s theme, "Make Your Drop in the Bucket," challenges individuals to make small, meaningful changes that contribute to a sustainable water future for all — because every drop counts.
The U.S. doesn't have to "Imagine" A Day Without Water
Our great nation’s water supply is failing its people. From Flint to Jacksonville to Hawaii, minorities and low income families are suffering. It’s time to get informed and stand with them! And if we think we have it bad, our less fortunate brothers and sisters in developing countries have it even worse!
Can you Imagine a Day Without Water?
You wake up one morning to a long day of work ahead of you, and prepare yourself to get ready for the day. You get up and try to brush your teeth, but low and behold, no water comes from your faucet. Your stove won’t light for your morning eggs; you can’t pour water into the pot for coffee; can’t even flush that foul stench down your toilet. Imagine a Day Without Water.

What Would a Day Without Water Look Like?
Imagine that you wake up, go to the bathroom and it won’t work then you turn on the faucet and nothing happens. Imagine going to your favorite Starbucks to get a boost for the day just to realize that there is no more water to make your coffee. Imagine going to the store to get water and on the aisle, there is no drinking water even available for purchase… If all these scenarios seem unlikely, could you at least Imagine a Day without clean water to cook, bathe, or do laundry with?
