FUNdraise to #ReachFurther this NTX Giving Day
With North Texas Giving Day less than one month away, Vera Aqua Vera Vita has some exciting announcements! Today, we’re recording a gross pledge of $20,000 dollars in matching donations for our NTX Giving Day fundraiser - a perfect half of our total fundraising goal of $40,000! Various donors have pitched in, pledging to match donations dollar for dollar as they start to come in as early as Sep. 1 (learn more and save the date here)!
Now remember - that $20,000 matching fund only comes to us with $20,000 in cash donations. We need your help to #ReachFurther this year than ever before! Our organization’s mission is directed across seas to those experience the reality of the global water crisis first-hand; however, before we’re able to make a lasting change, we need to first open the eyes of our brothers and sisters here in America - in our own towns and homes. Without their support, our organization has no legs to stand on. That’s why all of our $40,000 goal from NTX Giving Day is pledged to go back to the North Texas people - spreading awareness about the gravity of the global water crisis, educating on how to combat it, engaging students/youth & young adults to be champions for change, and providing a channel for future donors.
